NHC Director of Communications, Ian Hall is stepping down from his role at the end of January.
Since its consumer launch in April 2009, the NHC has promoted the health and hydration benefits of drinking water, emphasising the benefits that a good hydration habit can play in supporting a healthier lifestyle.
Annual bottled water sales are expected to have grown by 3% in 2010, according to Zenith International*, who also forecast that this growth rate will be maintained in 2011. Further evidence that consumers recognise the positive role that naturally sourced bottled water plays in their lives today.
“We are very pleased with the NHC’s achievements in 2010, the organisation is growing and now needs a new structure to continue researching the science and communicating the facts about naturally sourced bottled water. We thank Ian for his positive contribution to an important and successful year for the NHC in 2010” says Bill Dick, the Chair of the Natural Hydration Council.
